Annual Walk 4Rkids 2012
This year’s annual walk will be on September 22, 2012 at the David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
Each year the 4RKids Foundation hosts the Walk 4RKids inside the stadium of the David Allen Memorial Ballpark in downtown Enid. Now in it’s 10th year, this all-inclusive community event is our largest annual fundraiser. Throughout the morning 4RKids hosts a family-friendly carnival complete with clowns, face-painting, carnival games, inflatable attractions, food and drinks — and everything is provided free of charge to all who participate by our generous and dedicated corporate sponsors.
The highlight of the morning is the actual Walk 4RKids. For months before the Walk individuals form teams often in support of a developmentally disabled friend or family member. Teams raise money to donate to the 4RKids Foundation. Prizes are donated for the teams raising the most money in several categories. On the day of the Walk 4RKids, the teams gather together and walk around the ball field perimeter. Teams make banners, decorate bikes and wagons, and even sport special team t-shirts to honor their teammates in a wonderful celebration of the abilities all people possess.

Third Annual Run 4RKids!
Join us on Saturday, September 22nd, for the third annual 5K Certified Run 4RKids! Registration begins at 8:30 and ends at 9:20. The Run begins at 9:30. Registration is available on this website or on www.getmeregistered.com. This is a great opportunity to support our special needs individuals through community awareness while raising funds that make our programs possible.
Registration is $25 per runner in advance, or $30 on the day of the Run 4RKids. Students with an ID pay a special reduced registration of $15.00. Registration price includes a 2012 Walk/Run 4RKids t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the top qualifier in each category. After the Run 4RKids, join us inside the David Allen Memorial Ballpark for the Walk 4RKids 2012. Free hotdogs, hamburgers, and drinks. Carnival games. Prizes. Clowns. Facepainting. Miracle League
T-Ball teams are now forming for the Miracle League of Enid. Registration deadline is April 6th. Click here for the registration form. Games will be played at the ABC Park in Enid every Saturday in May and June. Fee is $35.00 (includes hat, jersey and insurance).
