The 2nd Story – A Unique Gift and Book Shop

  The dream of opening an employment center where developmentally disabled adults and teens could find meaningful work experiences, receive pre-vocational training, make social contacts, and increase self-esteem seemed far away when 4RKids was formed in 2003.  Today that dream has become a reality! In November of 2008, 4RKids opened The 2nd Story, A Unique Gift and Book Store, in the same complex with Putt-Putt.  The 2nd Story has given us the ability to hire workers at times other than the normal golf season.  It has also given us a showcase for the products our developmentally disabled friends and employees have made.  We accept donations of books and gift items for the store.
